Q. I JUST NEED A COVER FOR MY EBOOK, CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?
A. Absolutely. I do covers for all formats
 

Q. I NEED THE INTERIOR OF MY BOOK DESIGNED, CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?
A. Yes, I love typesetting. Whether or not you're getting your cover designed with CBD, I'm happy to help you with the interior. 
 

Q. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A. The cost of your cover and/or interior design will vary depending on the size (trim size and page count) and format of book (ebook, paperback, or hardcover). Rather than a “per page” or hourly rate I charge a flat project rate; I’m happy to provide you with a detailed quote if you send me an email.
 

Q. I NEED MY BOOK PRINTED, DO YOU DO THAT TOO?
A. No, I deliver print-ready files that you can send to your printer. If you haven’t chosen a printer yet let’s talk, I can show you where to start.
 

Q. HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE?
A. That depends on a few things (like how much of your book you provide me to read), but typically it takes a month, from coffee date to final files. If you’re working towards a set deadline, we will definitely meet it.
 

Q. HOW MUCH CREATIVE CONTROL DO I GET? I REALLY WANT TO USE A CERTAIN PICTURE ON THE COVER…
A. The short answer: Complete control, you always get the final say.
The less short answer: In the research phase I’ll ask you a lot of questions about your work, and we’ll go over all of the ideas you have for your cover. Any specific images you have will be added to the resource file so we can make use of them. Remember that any images we use on your cover are subject to copyright law and must be a high enough resolution to print.
 

Q. I LOVE MY COVER, CAN YOU MAKE MORE THINGS FOR ME?
A. Yes, I even have a marketing design package you can sign up for. I can help you with everything from bookmarks, business cards, posters, launch invitations, and advertisements, to a basic author website.
 

Q. HOW DO I PAY?
A. I accept payments online, and thanks to the magic of Stripe and Freshbooks it is super easy. All invoices are in Canadian dollars.
 

Q. WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH SOMEONE IN A DIFFERENT TIMEZONE?
A. Easy! I schedule meetings and deliverables in your timezone, you won’t even have to think about it.
